Art Activity during Hands on History 2008

2nd Annual

Hands On History Day Camp

For rising 4th and 5th graders

July 20th, 21st, and 22nd

Fendall Hall, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Snacks provided

$25 fee

Day1: Folklore Day: art, music, games, & more

Day2: Around the Town: grave rubbing, historic tours, games

Day3: A Day in 1860: art, food & much more

For three days students will make clay coil pots, folk art paintings, grave rubbings, tour historic property, play 19th century games & cook over a campfire.

Space is limited.

Deadline for reservations: July 10th

Open for tours:  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00  p.m.  Closed on Sunday and Wednesday. Open other times for events by appointment.  Closed all state holidays.
